Nice lady! Fair prices. Great with my dog. I decided to stay with my dog, due to his anxiety, however if you need to leave for a little while she has kennels the dog can stay in if you need it.

I have been taking Mr Bailey to Melissa for almost a year now and I couldn't be more satisfied. I had been taking him into town before I found K9 and the last time I took him his tummy area was blood red. Almost looked like a burn. He hated to get out of the car. I just had the most pleasant experience with a dog groomer that I had never met before in my life. I called several days ago to see about making an appointment for my furbaby to get groomed for the first time. She's a golden retriever that was dumped in our yard over 6 years ago and she is very scared around new people. Melissa, the owner, said that some dogs did better when their parents were there and others did better when their parents were not there. So we decided that it would probably be better if I stayed by her to comfort her. I was able to stay right with my baby as she was grooming her for the first time. We carried on a wonderful conversation about a lot of things. I drove past several other dog groomers because she was so willing to work with my baby. I definitely would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dog or cat groomer. My baby finally started wagging her tail towards the end of the grooming and was becoming more comfortable with Melissa. This was the first grooming that my baby had done and my baby looks wonderful. I will definitely be using Melissa's services again.

I'm absolutely horrible about making sure my dog is groomed all the time mostly because she plays with the big dogs ( she is a miniature shih tzu who plays with a pitbull and a Maltese Terrier shitzu mix ) so she looks like a wreck 99% of the time LOL but taking her to Melissa's salon I was so happy with the service my dog was extremely happy with her cut because she pranced around the house like she had been treated like a princess while she was there which obviously I could tell she was such a pretty girl when I picked her up everything was filed meaning her nails her eyelashes were beautiful she smelled great didn't come back with any fleas whatsoever I had taken my dog to other groomers and every time she had come back with fleas this time absolutely no problems and she enjoyed her day at the spa so thank you again we will be returning for her winter cut soon and lil bit thanks you also!!!!? love that and I totally recommend Melissa spa for everything your fur baby needs???????????????????????????

I've been bringing my Shih Tzu to Melissa for 3 years and she does a better job than any other place I have taken her to. There have been 3 times I have taken her elsewhere because either I was out of town or was unable to get her in to Melissa. Each time I paid more and got less. Her location is a bit off the beaten path, but the combination of price and quality make it worth the trip.

WONDERFUL!!! GENTLE!! EXTRA SUPER FOR SPECIAL NEEDS DOGS!!! Really works with the dog and at the dog's ability level!! She's SUPER with my 14 yo Aussie with degenerative back disease that ALSO can't see OR hear much and she will work on her as much as Belle can do and will STOP when Belle gets fatigued! NO RUSH, NO STESS, NO YANKING ON THE DOG!!! She's also started my new Service Dog prospect. No Trauma There!! He almost fell asleep in the tub on his first visit to the groomer!!! Lol. He went in trembling in fear, and he came out a happy clean well-adjusted pup!! Full bath, nails, blow dry done!!! A+A+A+ I will NOT go anywhere else!!!

My beautiful Sandy also has bad anxiety, she was rly nervous when we left her here to get groomed but she turned out looking amazing and is even happier since she got her cut. The last place we took her just shaved where we told them to cut even tho I specifically told them not to just shave her hair. They did a mediocre job but I was much much happier with K9 Design. It was worth every penny and I intend to go back next time her hair gets out of control, but sooner lol! :) she looks great and smells great! Thank you K9 Design!!
